50 Cent Further Clarifies the Leaked Phone Conversation on Hot 97
New York, NY – After the release of the leaked phone conversation between 50 Cent and Young Buck on 50’s own website, Thisis50.com, tensions have been flaring back and forth between the G-Unit Camp, Young Buck, and The Game. Buck released yet another diss track entitled ‘Taped Conversations’ after he was recorded sobbing to 50 on the 16 minute partial phone conversation that apparently appeared on possibly every media outlet. West Coast rap artist, The Game, even added his own vivid opinions on 50’s deliberate act of embarrassment. After Buck’s diss record surfaced on the net, 50, out of spite, released the entire phone conversation on his website for other media outlets to eventually pick up on.
Recently 50 was interview on New York’s Hot 97 about the leaked conversation and Buck’s diss record surrounding the whole incident. NY radio personality Angie Martinez questioned 50 about his reasoning behind taping the conversation, this was his answer.
“A lot of times people don’t see what the other person is doing. They don’t understand the cause and effect. They don’t see the other person; they just pay attention to me.”
“It’s crazy. When I see people showing me so many different things within their character, I don’t value them anymore.”
50 continued to explain that the phone conversation took place three months prior to Buck’s immediate dismissal from G-Unit. It occurred at a time when their friendship and business relationship was beyond any repair. 50 insisted that he was still trying to help Buck with his money issues regardless of the turmoil between them. He then continues to disparage Buck on his alleged drug abuse and his constant spurge of money. He even gave Buck some lasting advice.
“He needs to go to a program and get some real help. Then maybe we can talk to each other.”
When Angie questioned 50 if he taped all his phone conversation, this was his answer, “With idiots, yeah! So if they saying something crazy, it’s right there.”
50 even omitted comments about the footage showing Buck’s recent concert with him dissing the whole G-Unit camp that was also recently leaked to the net. “He’s in the middle of his show, saying ‘F’ me and everything else that created him.”
At press time, The Game has added his own response as another leaked track to the net, a remix to Young Buck’s recent diss ‘The Taped Conservation.’ It has become evident that both Buck and Game have united. With the lyrics expressed in that track, there’s no denying that they will continue to disparage G-Unit.
It’s interestingly amusing on how 50 will continue to discredit Buck on numerous amounts of things when all the while he keeps a nonchalant and subtle attitude towards everything. And yet, I don’t understand how Buck can buckle under 50 Cent during the conversation stating that he is not the type of person to diss anyone like 50 when three months later he goes around chanting ‘Fuck G-Unit.’ This whole charade is just honestly comical and we as the media feed off it like it’s actually interesting. On the real, it’s all just good publicity towards the push and hype of G-Unit’s sophomore album; why else would 50 focus all of energy into it.
Two Suspects Apprehended in Murder of Philant Johnson
Cincinnati, OH – If you might recall back in May of 2006, Atlanta based rap artist T.I. lost his assistant and closest friend, Philant Johnson, during a shooting that occurred on a freeway in Cincinnati. After two years without any answers, two suspects were finally apprehended by authorities and now stories complete the puzzle.
The situation into Johnson’s passing apparently began at a Cincinnati club T.I. happened to be performing at and at the after party at another nearby club. It was said that the two suspects were having trouble with T.I.’s entourage the whole night and things began escalating when they were denied entrance into V.I.P. One even claimed to have been stuck in the head with a bottle. At around 3:30am in the morning, T.I. and his entourage left the club in two separate vans heading towards the freeway, two SUVs followed and began opening fire at the two vans leaving three injured including T.I. and his closest friend, Johnson, dead.
According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, the two suspects that were apprehended were two brothers by the name of Hosea Thomas, 34, and Padron Thomas, 40. They have been charged with murder and felony assault.
The Johnson family kept in contact with Cincinnati authorities for the past two years and was somewhat relieved to finally reaching a conclusion to the murder of their loved one. T.I., as well, has a lifted burden, regardless of the situation he is in. He left these words on what this incident has taught him.
“I’ve experienced it. All that forward-thinking and transitioning from one area of life to another area of life — all that was flipped upside down and scrambled all the way up after Philant died in Cincinnati. Everything was, like, ‘OK. I thought I had everything under control. Now, obviously, this new person I’ve become has cost my homeboy his life.’ It caused me to think differently in certain ways, and in hindsight, I can say I was sadly mistaken.”
T.I. gave the eulogy at his longtime friend’s funeral, he believes that his involvement in the purchasing of guns, are in some ways, related to the shootings that occurred in Cincinnati and the loss of his friend.
It’s good to see this case finally solved, I know T.I. is relieved that justice was served. The death of his friend was the main focus on his recent platinum selling ‘T.I. vs. T.I.P.,’ if you listen to the acts he includes into the album, he blames himself for Johnson’s death.
Young Jeezy Arrested in Atlanta and Charged with DUI
Atlanta, GA – Early Wednesday morning (June 19), while leaving his recording studio, Young Jeezy was apprehended by Atlanta authorities for speeding and driving under the influence. What made police suspicious was the missing license tag from behind the vehicle.
Young Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Jenkins was pulled over around 2:30am early Wednesday morning on Interstate 85. They noticed that his Corvette did not have a license tag, but could not reveal how fast he was driving. Nevertheless, Jeezy was charged with speeding, driving with no proof of insurance or license plate, having an open container, reckless driving and driving impaired by alcohol or drugs. After being held by authorities, he was released on a $4,100 bond and is awaiting his trial set for July 17.
It’s interesting how this all could have been averted, how hard is it to register for a license tag? Sometimes I wonder if they even incorporate minimal everyday things into their busy schedule.
