Hip-Hop Websites – SOHH.com, AllHipHop.com Targeted by Hate Group

Sometime last week, major Hip-Hop websites SOHH.com and AllHiphop.com were targeted and hacked by what evidently was a hate group. On Friday (June 27) both websites were forced to temporarily cease operation until the problem was completely solved. Allhiphop.com re-emerged later that evening, while SOHH.com is still down.

Both sites were attacked in the pages of their forum until eventually the whole site was taken. When readers logged on to view their daily news, they were shocked and appalled to find fake headlines and articles containing racial slurs and terms. Apparently, an assailant or assailants entitled ‘Anonymous’ have claimed full responsibility for their criminal act. When this first occurred, people who frequently flock to the site were confused to see an unloaded page or articles of disgust, both websites worked quickly to cease the entire site in a rapid amount of time.

SOHH.com CEO Felecia Palmer released this statement on Friday evening:

“It appears that hackers are specifically targeting Black, Hispanic, Asian and Jewish youth who ascribe to hip-hop culture,” the statement read. “Other websites, including AllHipHop and DatPiff[.com’s] forums have also been compromised or threatened this week. … Also, as this is an international issue, it is being addressed by the FBI and the Strategic Alliance Cyber Crime Working Group.”

Co-founders of AllHipHop.com Chuck Creekmur and Greg Watkings released their own statement involving the hackers later that Friday evening after they re-launched:

“Urban culture and lifestyle has come under attack by a group of cyber terrorists. AllHipHop and SOHH, two pioneering Web sites that have been in the industry for over 10 years, are appalled by the unprovoked racist attacks of these cyber terrorists. With all the social strides that we have seen for several years, it is sad to see that this sort of blatant, hateful racism still exists in 2008 — a time of tremendous possibility. Together, AllHipHop and SOHH are committed to relentlessly pursuing these attackers, using every resource available, to ensure the capture of these criminals and prevention of repeat offenses.”

At press time, it has been reported that both SOHH.com and AllHipHop.com have joined forces and together sought out the proper authorities to resolves this criminal act.

This is absolutely a blatant act of defamation of the infrastructure that we built that is Hip-Hop. The fact that Hip-Hop has gone completely digital, people cannot stand. It is good to see two websites unite to fight one cause. Instead of facing each and every one of us one by one, they infiltrate us through the internet, Fucking Cowards!

The Boss is ‘Married to the Money.’

Los Angeles, CA – There has been wide speculation circulating all across the industry that two Hip-Hop artists have somehow become a couple or to further add to rumors become engaged. Just think all of this started because of a simple cover story on Hip-Hop Weekly.

The full article described Rick Ross and Foxy Brown as a fully fledged couple on the verge of engagement. It continues to state that Foxy has even packed her bags in Jersey to move down south to stay with Ross in the heat of Miami. All of these rumors stemmed from apparent pictures of the two simply hugging. Rick Ross recently spoke to MTV News concerning those allegations and this is what was said to them and the world.

Nah, nah, nah, the engagement is just speculation. I’m married to the money.”

At press time, Rick Ross is currently working on his next LP and is said to be out sometime before 2009. Along with that, he is also pushing his label Maybach Music Group to a major level, look out for Carol City Cartel debut album coming soon.

On the real, when the Boss says he’s married to the money, he’s married to the money. Now if we didn’t leak the rumors you know damn well it isn’t true. It’s amusing how all this began from pictures of them hugging. Either way, that’s his personal business, what is it to us?

DMX Arrested Again, Twice in One Week

Miami, FL. – The once multi-platinum selling artist that used to be signed to Def Jam has already started his year off with plenty of trouble. After being apprehended back in August of 2007 for animal cruelty and drug charges in his home in Cave Creek, AZ and then again in May for two separate charges that include unlawful speeding and additional drug charges is still awaiting trial for those has somehow gotten DMX arrested again, as a matter fact twice this week in the same city.

On Monday X was arrested in Miami for not having a valid driver’s license, as he was picked up on a warrant. He was later released on $500 bail. Then according to the Miami Herald, Miami-Dade Police arrested him again for apparently trying to purchase $30 worth of cocaine and $15 worth of marijuana from, get this, an undercover officer. After handing the officer $45 that officially sealed his fate and as he was charged with attempting to purchase cocaine and marijuana, according to a Miami-Dade Police Department arrest report.

You have got to be kidding me, what is up with this man. I’m really starting to think he is addicted to breaking the law or he just has a lot of bad luck, either way, he needs to really calm his ass down, period.
