Manny ‘Pac Man’ Pacquiao Wins over ‘Sugar’ Shane Mosley

Las Vegas, NV – Over the weekend, the biggest and most anticipated billed fight between two worldly-renowned boxers went down this past Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas. Philippines native, Manny ‘Pac Man’ Pacquiao (53-3-2, 38 KO’s), went in as the favored fighter over ‘Sugar’ Shane Mosley (46-7-1, 39 KO’s) weeks before the commencement of the fight. The anticipation into the match made headlines over all the media, net and television, as Pacquiao reigned in as the fan favorite and hopeful victor by his hometown fans and even U.S. fans.  

As both fighters commenced their walk, they both individually had their own respective musical artists walk them to the ring. Mosley recruited NY emcee LL Cool J to perform the old school hit ‘Mama Said Knock You Out’ as Mosley’s entrance theme song. Pacquiao, on the hand, kept it traditional and recruited Jimi Jamison former Survivor lead singer and songwriter of the theme song from the motion picture Rocky III ‘Eye of the Tiger.’ Jamison walked alongside Pacquiao as approached the ring.

As the fight commenced, the crowd began their Pacquiao chant bluntly exhibiting who they were rooting for. Both fighters fought all 12 rounds back and forth with some excitement in between. Within the middle of 3rd round, Pacquiao landed a combination onto Mosley face and knocked him to the ground for the first knock down. Throughout all 9 rounds, Pacquiao literally gave Mosley the fight of his life, continuing to push forward fearlessly pounding at the veteran 39 year old fighter. After all 12 rounds, Paquiao took the obvious win over Mosley by unanimous decision. Manny Pacquiao didn’t receive the KO that he was gunning for, but he still retained his WBO welterweight title making this his 14th consecutive victory.

Pacquiao won 120-108 on one scorecard, 120-107 on a second and 119-108 on the third.

After the match, fight commentator inquired about Floyd Mayweather, Pacquiao avoided the question, but of course the commentator insisted and continued to push the question. America is looking and waiting for a Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight, as of now there is no word, but either way that fight has to happen. 50 Cent Weighs In on Business Relationship with Jay-Z

New York, NY – It’s no secret that 50 Cent does not consider Jay-Z a friend, as a matter of fact 50 states that his relationship with Hov is based strictly on business. The two moguls only interact when they need something from each other mutually. Interestingly enough, by admitting that he isn’t friends with Jay has caused somewhat of a controversy.

50 recently spoke with MTV UK and shed some light on his business releationship with Hov and other artists.

These were his comments:
We don’t have those kinds of relationships. These people are people I associate with. We are in the same business. We are not necessarily friends. We don’t call each other for no reason, it’s not like we have something against each other to make us enemies, me and Jay[-Z] will use each other. Repeatedly. For energy.”

The G-Unit General was recently featured on former Pussycat Dolls frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger’s single ‘Right There.’ 50 is featured in the song and in the video. As for the feature, this is what he had to say on why he did it:

“Well, I was really wanting to date her, they played the song, and I said, ‘OK, I’ll do it. Maybe I’ll get a chance to do the video and be next to her and see what happens!”
