Michael Jackson Suffering from Terminal Illness

Reports have been coming in rapidly through the newswire over the course of the weekend that the King of Pop is suffering from a rare lung condition that has him fighting for his life. According to reports, Michael Jackson, at present moment, is in dire need of a lung transplant.

Over the course of the years he has been out of the limelight for some time now and sources close to him have said that he has been suffering from a genetic disease that has his left eye 95% blind, while at the same time he also has chronic gastronomical intestinal bleeding.

Renowned author, Ian Halperin, told the media that Jackson is far worse than what it seems, “He’s had it for years but its gotten worse. He needs a lung transplant but may be too weak to go through with it.”At the same time, Halperin also states that Jackson can barely talk, that his vision is slowly declining, and that he is suffering from emphysema. Jackson’s older brother Jermaine confirmed Michael’s situation with a comment to Fox News stating, “He is not doing so well right now. This isn’t a good time.”

This is actually some real sad news; you would never have thought that the King of Pop would let himself get to that level. A lot of people look up to Michael as a musical icon, the man has been in the business from his early childhood until now. He deserves every right to be the King of Pop. We already lost James Brown and Isaac Hayes. Let’s just hope for his full recovery.

Diddy Pre-Selected Derek Luke to Portray the Young Sean Combs

New York, NY – The mogul of the Bad Boy Empire practically monitored the making of the film based on his late best friend and artist’s life. ‘Notorious’ is in the midst of completion and the world awaits the arrival of the film that literally everyone, who knew and loved Biggie, was a part of. Diddy held a major part in Biggie’s life from the start of his music career until the very last minute. Throughout the 90’s, his life was a spectacle for the entire world to see. We watched his career, his popularity grow through the years, and this film the fans got to see what wasn’t shown behind all the cameras.

The actor who is portraying Diddy to a niche, Derek Luke, had several conversations with him virtually studying him on every angle. When the film producers came to Diddy and asked him who he thought was the right person to portray a young Sean Combs, he simply chose Luke from previous films that he enjoyed Luke in. He recently spoke with MTV News about Luke and how he came to such a conclusion.

“Everybody always asked me who I wanted to play me if anyone ever played me, and I said Derek Luke. So that’s why I called [Derek] to play me in ‘Notorious.’”

When asked what was the prime element that made him realize Luke was the perfect candidate this was his answer.

“His ferociousness, I felt like he could really represent me well.”

After the impression portrayal of Sean Combs, many people are now inquiring about a Diddy bio-pic. The mogul doesn’t have any plans on making a movie about himself, but Luke states that it would be a challenge that he’s willing to take. He recently spoke with MTV News as well and shared his thoughts on a film based on the Sean John, Bad Boy mogul.

“I would love to play Puff from scratch. I would love to play him from start to finish. It would be a different portrayal. It would be a totally different energy if I played a full-length Sean Combs picture. This man changed the game, Jay-Z, Master P, Eminem, 50 Cent? [Diddy] was sitting on millions way before them. Kanye, with the shine and the clothes? Puffy was all of that.”

At press time, Diddy has yet to comment about a film based on his life yet, but he hasn’t dismissed the idea all together. ‘Notorious’ opens in theaters on January 16, 2009.

I’m really looking forward to seeing this, I think they took too long to make this, but either way it should be interesting. Jermaine Dupri Denies Rumors of Janet’s Pregnancy

Jermaine Dupri has a lot to say as of late concerning his longtime girlfriend Janet Jackson. Apparently there have been rumors circulating through the industry and across the media that Janet is pregnant. Now many media outlets have discussed it, blogged about it, as a matter of fact, Life & Style Magazine ran a cover story with the title Janet Jackson tells Friends: ‘Yes, I’m Pregnant.’ Adding to that there were even other rumors that him and Janet somewhere severed ties and weren’t seeing each other anymore. Well, I’m quite sure; JD wasn’t too pleased about the whole confusion.

And needless he say, he wasn’t. He recently wrote on his blog denying any such pregnancy or that there was any nonsense of them splitting up. This is what he wrote:

“As you all know Janet is a very private person. The only reason you see her as much as you do on my YouTube vlog is because of me, LOL. But I hear y’all and your questions. So here you have it. No, she is not pregnant and yes, we’re still together. It baffles me how y’all let these blogs and magazines control your lives. If she isn’t, she needs to hurry up and get to it. If Janet still wants to have kids, she doesn’t have all the time in the world to have a child and at the same time raise one. Then again, I might be wrong, if Halle Berry can do it, who knows?
