Osama Bin Laden Dead: Justice Served
America can shed a sigh of relief today, as last night; the monster responsible for the attack on the World Trade Center has been brought to extreme justice, killed during a raid. After a 10 year relentless manhunt into the search for the al Qaeda mastermind Osama Bin Laden, it seems as though military forces would never find him. But just months before the tenth year anniversary into the nation’s worst terrorist attack, family members of the victims of the bombing of the World Trade Center can finally be somewhat at ease. The entire world is shedding a sigh relief alongside America as well, as they praise the American government.
President Obama addressed the entire nation late last night reassuring the people that ‘justice has been done.’ He provided details to the American public on what exactly occurred between the intel that military forces and Obama received and discussed on the whereabouts of bin Laden. The military received classified intel that the mastermind was located in a civilian stronghold in Abbottabad, north of the Pakistani capital of Islamabad, along with other family members. According to Obama, military forces planned for weeks in advance before the actual raid. When Obama finally gave the go ahead, a small group of U.S. Special Ops Navy Seals team flew in by helicopter and covertly attacked the stronghold killing Osama bin Laden. He continued to reassure that there were no American or civilian casualties.
These were Obama’s exact comments on the raid:
“Today, at my direction, the United States launched a targeted operation against that compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan,” Obama said. “A small team of Americans carried out the operation with extraordinary courage and capability. No Americans were harmed. They took care to avoid civilian casualties. After a firefight, they killed Osama Bin Laden and took custody of his body.
However, even before Obama addressed the nation, rumors and speculation spread all across the internet, including twitter that Osama bin Laden was dead. As soon as the first twitter was read by millions, tweets were being posted left and right, it take long before the entire twitter nation jumped on the same trending topic, all up until Obama’s address to the nation that basically confirmed all the rumors. During his speech, citizens all across Washington, D.C., even tourists gathered in front of the White House congratulating Obama, chanting U.S.A., singing the Star Spangled Banner, and waving the American flag proudly. At the same time in New York City, people began gathering around Ground Zero, the location where the Twin Towers once stood proudly, doing the same. America and the entire world are celebrating the death of a monster responsible for the demise of 3000 innocent lives; this is truly a grand day in U.S. history.

The former President, George W. Bush, posted this statement via his facebook, immediately after hearing that bin Laden was killed:
“Earlier this evening, President Obama called to inform me that American forces killed Osama Bin Laden, the leader of the al Qaeda network that attacked America on September 11, 2001. I congratulated him and the men and women of our military and intelligence communities who devoted their lives to this mission. They have our everlasting gratitude. This momentous achievement marks a victory for America, for people who seek peace around the world, and for all those who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001. The fight against terror goes on, but tonight America has sent an unmistakable message: No matter how long it takes, justice will be done.”
At press time, the media has stated that it is a very dangerous time for Americans to travel right now as they are expecting an al Qaeda backlash. America will be on high alert for quite some time as the death of Bin Laden is only the beginning.

Quite understandable, the world would have mixed feelings, even though it’s the next day, people are still in bewilderment that after 10 years of searching this war fugitive, we can finally say it’s over. In my eyes, I still thought that the country of Pakistan didn’t know he was there the whole time, I mean Abbottabad, city North of the capital Islamabad and for 10 years you didn’t know he was there, I seriously thought that the Pakistani government were unaware.
