Steelers Become First Team to Hold Six Championship Titles

Tampa, FL. – This year marked the 43rd year that the Super Bowl held as part of the NFL’s most important championship game of the season. Two titan teams from both the AFC and NFC go head to head for the ring and the acclaimed Vince Lombardi trophy. The 2008 season was quite an interesting spectacle as Arizona beat Philadelphia and went on to play for the first time in history at the Super Bowl. For Pittsburgh, however, they were going for their sixth win overall. With the Cardinals QB on the verge of retirement, it was an underdog story for Kurt Warner as he already secured Super Bowl win with St. Louis some years prior, looking for their second before permanent retirement.

Last night was Super Bowl Sunday and literally half the nation watched as the Steelers collide with the Cardinals at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Before the players began road to the Lombardi trophy, Jennifer Hudson stepped to the forefront and sang our national anthem with such poise and vocal talents, she received a grand applause. As the game commenced, talk about an edge of your seat game, the first quarter gave way for Steelers to be the first to place points on the scoreboard. First they attempted a successful field goal and made way for their first touchdown leading the game by 10. In the second quarter, the Cardinals scored a touchdown and making the game a 10-7 game before going into halftime. You would think within the final minutes before halftime that the Cardinals would score their second touchdown; Kurt Warner throws an interception at the end zone right into the hands of linebacker James Harrison as he completed an impressive 100 yard touchdown. As the game commenced into the second half after the spectacular performance that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, the Steelers and the Cardinals were in a race going back and forth for the lead. The fourth quarter was where all the tension rose where Warner threw a pass to Larry Fitzgerald who looked like he was running for his life for the touchdown making the score 23 to 20 putting the Cardinals in the league for the time being. As they thought the win was on the way, Steelers QB, Ben Roethlisberger, threw an amazing pass to receiver Santanio Holmes with an impressive inbound touchdown putting the Steelers in the league 27 to 23. The Pittsburgh Steelers are now the first team in NFL history to hold six Super Bowl titles. Both teams put forth an amazing performance.

I must admit the game was quite interesting. It kept me on the edge on my seat as the points were going back and forth with each passing minute. At one point, I thought the Cardinals had a chance, but as always the Steelers seem to pull through in the final minutes of the game. Congratulations to the Pittsburgh Steelers for being the first team in the NFL with the most titles, now all we need is for the Dolphins to win at least one more.

Day 26 and Dawn Richard Discuss Aubrey O’Day’s Playboy Shoot

New York, NY – Between artists like D. Woods and Aubrey O’Day, both former members of the platinum selling Danity Kane, chose to go in a direction that they thought would keep them afloat in the industry and amongst the fans. Woods is still doing shows, popping up in different places all over the nation, while O’Day chose another path. That path lead her to Playboy and as we all know that immensely popular gentlemen’s magazine has always be able to stir up controversy amongst the media and the people surrounding the said individual.

When MTV News asked Day 26 what they thought about O’Day’s choice about Playboy, they all had something to say.

Brian Angel was all for it and states that he is an avid Playboy and Aubrey O’Day supporter:

“I’m gonna be the first person to pick it up, tell me when it debuts. Playboy, I support you and Aubrey. I wanna see it!”

Will Taylor added that he also would pick up the issue:

“I’m going to get that issue. Much love to her. Ain’t no hard feelings.”

Robert Curry added that he still has much love for her and the choices she makes:

“Big up to Aubrey, and may she be blessed in everything she does. It’s sad things ended the way they did, but Aubrey, we still love you. I still love you.

The only member that didn’t include a comment to the question was Qwanell Mosley. His response was just simply, “Next Question!”

Dawn Richard the other hand wasn’t too sure on what to think about her former bandmate’s decision on exposing her to the whole world.

Congratulations? I don’t know what to say to that. When someone says, ‘Yo, she posed for Playboy.‘ That’s great. I mean, she has a great body, so yay. I can’t tell somebody what their career move is. Maybe that’s what they wanted their career to be”

MTV even boldy asked her if she would ever grace the pages of Playboy or even if it would be a considered idea:

“Would I do that right now? My mom would beat me. I don’t judge. It’s like, whatever. I don’t judge people. I’m not going to give it more time than that. I think people give it too much time, actually.”

In related news, the platinum selling Danity Kane has officially broken up. Dawn Richard aired the news to MTV sometime last week. At the time when the remaining were suppose to return to the recording of the next season of ‘Making the Band,’ Aundrea Fimbres and Dawn Richard showed up, but Shannon Bex was a no show. There are rumors that she is in the process of recording her solo album and searching for a new label to release it on. The season will air on MTV on February 12. Aubrey O’Day will appear in the March issue of Playboy due out in the next couple of weeks, according to sources, it is rumored that she made $500,000 for her photo layout.

All I have to say is, she’s either going broke or she just wants the publicity because honestly that amount was a copout, they offered Ashanti more than that. But then again that’s Ashanti; they’d be paying for better body and a prettier face. Let’s be real here, they offered Jennifer Aniston a whooping $4 million plus percentage, I mean damn.

The Boss Discusses 50’s Diss Track with Shade 45

The Boss of Miami is not too impressed with the diss track that 50 Cent has unleashed onto the net last Thursday. Media outlets, as well as the industry, have been making a field day out of this track that was purposely leaked by 50 himself. You would think all this is from a one diss track that Ross released to the net entitled ‘Mafia Music,’ but apparently it goes further than that. And now both artists are taking each and every diss to the next level, Ross airing out 50’s legal troubles with the mother of his child, while 50 delves into Ross’ past.

Recently, Rick Ross spoke to host Angela Yee of Shade 45 concerning the track in question.

“We all gonna act like we didn’t hear that. We gonna give him 48 hours, time to come up with another one!”

He omits the reason behind the heated feud as it began sometime last year at the BET Awards. At the time, Ross wanted to speak with 50, but wasn’t too pleased with his facial expressions as he compared to that of DJ Vlad’s expression.

“When I finally got the opportunity to bump into him, I planned to have words, but he disappointed me, so I kept it moving.”

At press time, there are rumors circulating about that 50 Cent is looking to sign Ross’ baby mother to a book publishing deal, but that has not been confirmed yet.

I’m not quite sure what the whole situation is about or how it all started, I mean Ross says one thing and then 50 denies it and says another. We just going to have see what further situations come about.

Rick Ross vs. 50 Cent: Round 2

WorldStarHipHop.com and ThisIs50.com has released a video of 50 Cent discussing plans about ending Ross’ career for fun. He continues on to describe how he has of list of artists that he has destroyed. 50 continues to omit that he has purchased the court transcripts and that he’s looking for Ross’ address.

Checkout the video, it is self explanatory:
