‘Juice’ Simpson Convicted

Las Vegas, NV – As you might already be aware, O.J. Simpson was convicted and found guilty during yet another run in with the law. This time it was obvious that he wasn’t going to escape the charges bought against him, those charges consisted of robbery and kidnapping. If you might recall, sometime in September of last year, Simpson and several other defendants were arrested in conjunction to a robbery, assault with a deadly weapon including kidnapping, and criminal conspiracy at the Palace Hotel in Las Vegas.

On October 3, 2008, Simpson and his co-defendant, Stewart, were initially found guilty on all charges. Due to the kidnapping charge, his sentence could be as much as life in prison, either way; he could face up to 60 years imprisonment. When the verdict was passed, the Juice, stated that he was “shocked.” He couldn’t believe he was there for a “nothing incident.”

Associate to Simpson, Tom Scotti spoke to him about the whole incident and these were his comments:

“He’s strong. He’s just in shock. His first concern is his kids. He wanted to make sure they were okay, financially, at least, they should be.”

At press time, both Simpson and Stewart will be sentenced on December 5, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada. His sentencing could include a life sentence with parole depending on the severity of the charges and the judgment.

Damn, Juice, what is up with that? He got off the first time with Cochranon his side, this time; well let’s just say a lot of things weren’t going his way this time around. Let’s just hope for the best for the NFL alumni.

Janet Postpone Shows Due to Sickness

For the past week, Janet Jackson has been missing tours all across the North America. News of her illness came at a sudden time when she was forced to cancel three city shows that apart of her ‘Rock Witchu Tour’ all across North America. The first three cities included Montreal, Boston, and Philadelphia. Now most recently that same illness has caused to cancel yet another three shows. Those other postponed city shows included Greensboro, Atlanta, and Fort Lauderdale.

Sometime late last Saturday, Jackson’s publicist emailed the Associated Press issuing a statement about her current condition. This is what was stated:

“Janet was hoping to resume her tour in an effort not to disappoint her fans, however, after arriving in Greensboro, it became evident that she is not fully recovered. A local doctor advised that she not perform tomorrow.”

At press time, Jackson is currently residing in her home in Los Angeles due to her doctor’s advisement. The promoter of the show is currently working on rescheduling the missed shows for all her dedicated fans.

What would cause Janet to become suddenly ill? Now is this just a ploy to take some much needed time off or is she really sick? Whatever the case may be, hopefully she can provide her fans that bought tickets a make up show sometime in the very near future.
