Davie, FL – P Man Sam, whose real name is Samuel Ferguson, was shot dead on Friday (August 14) while driving Northbound on the Florida Turnpike in Davie towards an unknown destination. The Florida Highway Patrol states that he might have been a victim of road rage, however, that is still in speculation as an investigation is underway. It has made major news headlines all across South Florida.

The shooting occurred at around 1:15pm between the Hollywood Blvd and Griffin Road exit on the Turnpike. Ferguson was driving a burgundy Chevy Impala when a black sedan drove to the side of him and fired multiple shots into the vehicle killing him, he was 47. When authorities arrived on the scene, they found Ferguson’s vehicle halted at the median covering multiple northbound lanes. Authorities closed the turnpike going in both directions causing major traffic backups for almost 4 hours while medical examiners investigated the scene. At press time, authorities do not have a make and/or model of the black 4 door sedan, but has only stated that it has custom aftermarket clear backlights and occupied by multiple assailants. The shooters are still at large and remain unknown. The motive behind the shooting is still under investigation.
