Brooklyn rapper Papoose,
who is best known for his beastly mixtape game, is being sued by an NYC
ambulance driver. I know, this is a rather unusual lawsuit for a rapper,
usually it would be a club promoter or a baby mama or something but this is a
new one.

Rocky Robinson, the ambulance driver pressing the suit, is
saying that Papoose suckered him into using him and his ambulance crew for the
shooting of the video “Ambulance”. The song, as you may have guessed, is not
actually about the emergency medical transportation industry, but rather a diss
to fellow Brooklynite Uncle Murda. Robinson says Pap told the crew the video
was about the good the EMT’s do in the community and how they help the people.
“His people told us the video would be about the neighborhood and how we
respond to save lives,” Robinson said. “We don’t want to be a part of something
where somebody gets hurt.” What a clown! Flav told us way back in the day 911
is a joke, why the hell would a rapper be filming a video about the good work
of EMT’s?! especially one from Brooklyn?! They don’t even come out there half
the time when someone is shot.

Pap has not responded and the amount they are suing for is
not known though Robinson has said the issue is not the money but protecting
their good name that is important. He said Papoose “probably hasn’t got much,
but we’ll sue anyway. Our image is everything to us.” Right.  I do know
however Pap has got big Theo on his side and he is no joke when it comes to the
courtrooms, so we’ll see what happens on this one.
