Ross’ Maybach Music Group is honoring the Florida Entertainment Summit
with an entire day of events for DJs and Registrants of the 4th
Annual Florida Entertainment Summit. The label founded by Platinum
Recording Artist Rick Ross will organize various events including the
DJ Experience Brunch and the Summit’s closing night party at Miami’s
state of the art (3) level night club Nocturnal on Sunday, Dec 14, 2008.
The 4th
Annual Florida Entertainment Summit (FES) kicks off on Wednesday,
December 10 with a Dinner Party at B.E.D Night Club hosted by Flo Rida
and the entire Poe Boy Entertainment, the following day The DJ Drop
Lounge will introduce recording artist Sho Zoe and Slip N Slide Records
will celebrate their 15th Year Anniversary with a private
party. Panels and workshops are hosted on Friday, Dec 12 and Saturday,
Dec 13 include a Screen Actors Guild Workshop, the Music in Film &
New Media Panel, the Art of Successful Social Networking and Marketing
and the FES SoundLab where recording artists and producers will play
their music for immediate feedback from Mixshow DJs, A&Rs and
well-connected industry insiders. FES is hosting Rhythm & Style, a
lounge showcasing emerging talent in Film, Music, Fashion and Visual
Art. Rhythm & Style will feature a screening of the short film
“Make Up” by Darren Saunders starring model Kia Samuel and spotlight Go
Hard Entertainment Recording Artist Teddy P who was formerly signed to
Producer Tone Capone. VH1’s Hip-Hop Honors 2008 Best Hip-Hop Venue
Winner SoBe Live will host a White Summer Fashion Show on Friday, Dec
12 hosted by Video/Film Director R. Malcolm Jones.
Artist
showcases at FES will provide the opportunity for recording artist to
receive digital distribution or sign with Slip N Slide Records.
Udub!Music, a new division of Urban World Wireless focused on the
digital distribution of music, and Slip N Slide Records are hosting
artist showcases. Independent and emerging artists will showcase their
talent for a Udub!Music Representative for the opportunity to get a
digital distribution deal. Slip N Slide Records is hosting their Next
Big Super Star Artist Showcase and recording artist will have the
opportunity to showcase in front of Slip N Slide Records Founder Ted
Lucas for an opportunity to get signed by the label.
Each
year this highly-anticipated industry event features a stellar list of
events that allows entertainment industry professionals and hopefuls
multiple opportunities to educate themselves on current trends. FES
