According to MediaTakeOut.com Alicia Keyes took a tumble at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. Check out the story below:

It all started when Alicia Keys began performing (shortly after midnight). According to a MediaTakeOut.com snitch, Alicia – who was wearing 4 inch heels – was dancing and gyrating THROUGHOUT THE PERFORMANCE!!.

But about half way through the set, things GOT TRICKY. The snitch explains, “She had on high heels and never seemed to have her balance all night. And as she was walking across the stage she slipped and fell.”

MediaTakeOut.com CONFIRMED that the fall was NOT HARD and Alicia and her baby are both FINE. But get this, when Alicia hit the deck, she didn’t miss a beat. The insider explained, “She just kept singing [while] on the ground, like a real pro.”

I am relieved to hear that Alicia and the baby are ok, I really hope she takes it easy during the rest of her pregnancy.
