Lil Wayne’s album “Tha Carter III” dropped June 2008, and sold a million albums the first week. One of the songs on the album, “A Milli” was produced by Bangladesh. Till this day, producer Bangladesh claims that he was never paid any royalties.
Bangladesh recently did an interview with RapUp TV and explained the situation. He claims he knows that Birdman has the money, but just wont pay him. Bangladesh then takes it a step further and says ” he [Birdman] makes songs like ‘Money To Blow’, yea thats because it’s not your money”. Ouch, looks like he is not playing about receiving his dues.
Then the producer speaks on his encounter with Lil Wayne. Bangladesh explains how Wayne gave him the silent treatment and that “it just wasn’t right”. He compares Wayne to Gucci, and how Gucci is willing to work and pretty much more humble.
