NOLA.com reports that the former Hot Boy faces eight to 10 years in prison, according to sentencing recommendations from probation officers. Prosecutors, however, may push for a harsher sentence.

B.G., real name Christopher Dorsey, pleaded guilty to the charges in December, and appeared in court on April 25 before U.S. District Court Judge Ginger Berrigan.

B.G. was arrested with two other men in November 2009 for allegedly possessing three weapons, loaded magazines and two extended clips. The car he was in had been stolen from an Alamo rental car parking lot, and that two of the three guns had been reported stolen.

According to NOLA.com, B.G.’s sentencing date has been pushed back yet again. He is now scheduled to go before a judge on July 18th.
