B2K singer Raz – B, fakes a serious life threatening injury and tells fans he is on life support after a brawl in a club in China near Shanghai while he was out there performing for a show.  Even his brother claims to not know that the story wasn’t true, after he spread the word further.  His brother  later apologized for spreading the word further and claims to of not been able to contact him while he was away in China.

The call to United States news castors was made by Tory Jones, Raz- B’s publicist, who says she was hired by Raz – B’s managers to make the call. Raz – B’s managers are denying any affiliation with Tory Jones and her calls to TMZ and other sources earlier last week.

Raz -B apparently had been in a little scuffle in China so the story wasn’t a complete fabrication of lies, however he received very minor injuries. These days people will do anything to get publicity and Raz-B hasn’t been getting very much lately so it does seem that this is an act out of desperation to boost popularity this month.

DJ Khaled set an example the last couple of months with his fake marriage proposal to Nick Minaj and could have artists like Raz-B making an illusion to gain more talk and press.  Stars have always done things for attention, even going to demoralizing steps to get more press.  Raz – B has a good cover, however I don’t see how this is anything less.
