It was only natural that Rick Ross made his entrance on Tuesday night’s episode (November 1) of 106 & Park to the soundtrack of “I’ma Boss.” What better way to let your public know that those seizures were merely the result of sleep deprivation?

In addition to revealing that he was instructed to remain on bed rest, Ross also revealed that he disobeyed instructions to work on a new collaboration with Jay-Z.

Fair enough. The MMG CEO said that his first seizure was so minor that he brushed it off. “I felt a little wore out but I felt like I could keep going,” he explained.

“And I boarded a jet and I had another seizure and when I snapped out of that one, I woke up in front of doctor.” Tests revealed that a lack of sleep was the problem, so Ross cut back, but he still spared some time to work with Hov.

“Me and Jay-Z finished the biggest collaboration that we’ve ever done together, for my album,” he said.

“Being the fastest growing label in the game, wanting to be the number one label in the game, it comes with a lot of sacrifices and in my case it was sleep. I would get two hours of sleep and keep moving. Me being a hustler.”
