While Lauryn Hill recently announced that she was pregnant with her sixth child, the father, reportedly Rohan Marley, declared via Twitter that the child was not his.

“2 Things, I’m not married and I don’t have anyone expecting anything,” Rohan wrote from his Twitter account.

Responding to inquiries from other Twitter followers about his marriage to Lauryn Hill and the pregnancy, he stated that his previous statement was in fact true .

Lauryn Hill hasn’t put out an album since the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, in what many speculate has been due to family and responsibilities associated with having five kids.


“Trust me, the info out there is so incorrect for so many years… Thx for twitter. I check a few things,” Rohan continued to Tweet.

The Grammy-award-winning artist recently returned to the stage to partake in the Rock the Bells tour this summer, with an all–star lineup that featured Nas, Erykah Badu, Cypress Hill, Mobb Deep, Black Star, Raekwon, Ghostface, Slaughterhouse and many others.

Lauryn Hill made the announcement during a show at Chene Park in Detroit on  Saturday (June 4th).
