New York, NY – Shady Records has been quite busy working the course of the label in the background. With the signing of the supergroup Slaughterhouse and the solo joint with Yelawolf, you can expect a lot of material coming out of the Shady vault within the next couple of months. Besides the Slaughterhouse sophomore LP, ‘Monster’ and the Yelawolf yet to be titled studio album, both Em and Royce (current member of Slaughterhouse) agreed to complete what they started on 11 years ago, the Bad Meets Evil EP project. Interestingly enough though, before the world will hear a new Slaughterhouse or Yelawolf album, Shady has decided to release the Bad Meet Evil EP first. That project has already been greenlit by Interscope for a June release.

Royce recently spoke to MTV News about the upcoming Bad Meets Evil project that is the first drop off of Shady.

These were his comments:

“It’s just something to set up Slaughterhouse anyway. That’s our main focus right now, is Slaughterhouse and then we got Yelawolf. We’re just trying to start a movement.”

MTV News then questioned about the upcoming Slaughterhouse album that fans have been long anticipating the release. According to Royce, he says that the group is taking their time and not rushing like they did with the first.

“Yeah, we’re working on it slowly but surely, slowly and surely. They’re coming here [to Detroit] for seven days starting on the 12th of May. We did the last album in six days, so sky’s the limit on how much we gonna get recorded while they’re here.

Royce even added that they’ve already have several songs recorded:

We’re about seven or eight songs in. Just cutting randoms, just to see where we are at.”

At press time, no release dates have been  scheduled for Slaughterhouse’s ‘Monster’ or
Yelawolf’s yet to be titled album, however, the Bad Meets Evil project has been set for a June 14 release.
