Around the time when Ryan Leslie was getting ready to release his second album with singles such as  “Diamond Girl” and “Addiction” was seemingly his two back to back smash radio hit singles him and Rick Ross linked up in the studio to create something for Rick RossDeeper Than Rap” album. What came out was an incredible record called “Maybachs & Diamonds“. For some reason the record never made it on to the “Deeper Than Rap” album  and was never officially released outside of this video footage below from Ryan Leslie Blog/Website. Neither Ross or Ryan Leslie used the amazing collaboration for their next few coming projects but Ross did place a record on his Triple C’s group album called “Diamonds & Maybachs Pt.2” ft Mass Pike Miles(Shown in the video below). I recently came across this video footage of a Ryan Leslie at a show in NYC where he was actually performing the record. Leslie even added a verse for himself where he’s rapping on the record which a lot of you Ryan Leslie fans already know he’s known to do from time to time. Young Money Ent. latest signee Cory Gunz also had a verse and graced the stage with Ryan. I’m not sure if this is how the official record for “Diamonds & Maybachs” will play out but I do wish the music world could of got the chance to hear the Ryan Leslie & Rick Ross version if it is because even with only some video footage to judge this record on and not actually hearing a verse from Ross himself I still this record would of been huge.
