South Beach – Each and every week Miami’s hotspot Sobe Live hosts the hottest live shows within the city limits. They have always put together the hottest lineups in the game today or even yesterday, whereas old school acts can still rock a crowd of excited fans.
Last Saturday (November 29), Sobe Live put together an extremely huge lineup for a plethora of excited fans across Miami and out of towners. The lineup for this week was quite interesting. Reigning from Miami they invited Brisco, Billy Blue, Ballgreezy, and Bizzle to grace the stage alongside Huey and old school West Coast pioneers Daz and Kurupt of legendary Tha Dogg Pound. If you were there last night then you were part of an event that was aired live on National TV courtesy of the Starz Network. The event was brilliantly hosted by the man of the hour, Miami’s own Larry Dogg. In attendance were also a good amount of Miami artists.
The event was an amazing turnout with vibrant performances from each of the artists that were headlining the show. The crowd filled in as early as midnight as they awaited the performances from there Miami artists, Huey, and the West Coast pioneers Kurupt and Daz. Bizzle commenced the performances for the night providing his hit singles to a crowd of excited fans. Huey graced the stage performing his hit single ‘Pop, Lock, and Drop’ before Ballgreezy and the whole Poe Boy family hit the stage. Billy Blue practically shut down show alongside Brisco has their ‘Get Like Me’ hit made the crowd go wild. Let’s face it, when Poe Boy is in the house, the show is theirs. Greezy came on stage performing ‘Shone’ rapping along with the audience right before he got into another Brisco assist hit single, ‘I’m the Shit.’ The Opa Locka Goon gave the crowd a show to remember between Blue and Greezy. The interesting part about the whole ensemble is the fact that Flo Rida and Triple Cs own Gunplay made an appearance to show. Before the night was over, Larry Dogg formally introduced Tha Dogg Pound on the stage as he does with grand appraise. Daz and Kurupt gave the crowd a grand showcase giving that old school feel back when we were in our heydays.
Whatever the situation may be, Sobe Live does it grand and huge every single time. Each and every week is something different. Their live performances have always provided a huge buzz amongst the city circuit with an outcome of a great turnout. Look forward to more shows from Sobe Live and 24hourhiphop.com in the upcoming weeks.
