Since we always go so hard on Suge I thought it only necessary to report a bit of good news for the troubled man. Knight was recently cleared of assault and drug charges by the Las Vegas Police in connection with his August 27 arrest. Knight was charged with felony drug possession and misdemeanor assault after people reportedly saw him beating on his girlfriend Melissa Isaac in the middle of the strip in the early morning hours. After responding to the 911 calls made by witnesses, police discovered Knight standing over a naked and bloody Isaac with a knife in his hand. After subduing him the officers also discovered Ectsasy and Hydrocodone on him.

            The reasons why the charges were dropped were due to “lack of production in discovery and the failure of witnesses to be subpoenaed.”, says a court insider. Knight had only a few words to say about his fortunate turn of events.  “God is good, and I’ve got the best two lawyers in America. Happy holidays,”.  So it seems.

            Not everybody is happy though as it is being reported that the prosecution is now planning to take the case to a grand jury and proceed in prosecuting Mr. Knight.  How does this man afford such good lawyers if he’s so broke? Something must be going on that the public isn’t seeing…
