In a not so ‘noteworthy’ news, former West Coast top heavyweight and former CEO of Death Row Records, Marion ‘Suge’ Knight is filing a lawsuit against Chi-Town native Kanye West. At the time, Knight just underwent a bankruptcy watching his life’s work being auctioned off; apparently he’s feeling the effects of being broke. Now you would think that this lawsuit was over improper music usage, sample clearing, or something of that nature, well apparently it is over a stolen earring and a gunshot wound to the leg that occurred over three years ago at a pre MTV VMA party held by ‘Ye in Miami.

TMZ.com is reporting that Knight is accusing West for the loss of his 15 carat diamond earring that was stolen by an unknown assailant, who he thinks either works for West or is in the same entourage. According to the lawsuit, Knight is blaming West for his improper security measures allowing someone to slip through with a gun leaving Knight with a gunshot wound to the leg. He claims that gunshot wound caused him reconstructive surgery, months of physical therapy, continued mental pain and suffering and loss of income.

At press time, West has yet to comment to the media about the suit. Keep posted to 24hourhiphop.com as this situation is in the developing stages.
