In February, a young Georgia resident by the name of Ahmad Arbery was fatally shot and killed. It all started when Abbey was on a jog when two wite men Gregory J. McMichael and Travis J. McMichael, ambushed him and eventually shot him. Justice would not be served until June 12th because of COVID-19. Ahmaud Arbery’s would be 26 on May 8th. A video of the incident allegedly taken by a bystander was leaked on social media and went viral.

Since then, no arrests have been made and T.I. Demands answers. In an Instagram post that is now deleted, the caption read: “No MO Talk… I’m just sick of seeing, videos, posting pics & stories like these over and over with NO ACTION TAKEN!! MESSAGE BLACK MEN & WOMEN…WE ARE BEING HUNTED!!! These aren’t mistakes or coincidences…ITS WAR..So treat it as such. IT WONT STOP UNTIL WE STOP IT!!! #UsorElse.” The family hustle star followed up with another post. “AHMAUD ARBERY WAS RUNNING IN HIS NEIGHBORHOOD AND WAS CHASED AND MURDERED BY TWO WHITE SUPREMACISTS. CONTACT THE LIBERTY COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY TO DEMAND THAT GREGORY AND TRAVIS MCMICHAEL BE CHARGED FOR THE MURDER OF AHMAUD ARBERY.”
