After talking so much trash, it seems as if T-Pain is taking back everything he has previously said about Jay-Z. Like a child, T-Pain has stated that he only ranted about Jay-Z to get his attention and that he was “bugging out.” In an interview with Ed Lover, Power 105.1 reports Pain’s views on the entire situation between him and Jay:
“I will say, the interview he did yesterday morning, it made me feel so much better,” Pain said in an interview. “Because these are high times, I really look up to dude — I could have been one of these stupid artists and go at him lyrically — my dad always told me, the best way to have somebody get at you is to go talk about them with somebody else. It was really just me trying to get his attention like ‘Yo, please call me because I’ve been trying to call you for two months now.’ I just wanna know, if you doing it for publicity, fantastic, and I’ll do it with you — just like 50 and Kanye, them dudes are fans. When they wanted to put it out as beef, to make it interesting, they acted like they hated each other — I’m definitely cool with Jay. I bugged out that day. It was people in the crowd saying ‘Jay-Z destroyed you.’ — He did clear up yesterday and I feel a lot better. Neither him or I have the time to be going through this beef crap man. I’m a fan of Jay-Z and Ima always be a fan of Jay-Z, me and Fab talked today, he apologized, he said it was stupid on his part — somebody made a fake T-Pain page today saying nothing but ‘F Jay-Z’ and ‘F Fab’ and then Fab went in on me.”
Yes, Fab definitely went in on Pain as well. For those who weren’t aware, rapper Fabolous gave his two cents about Pain via his Twitter account. He taunted the Auto-Tune’d singer/rapper by saying:
“Jus heard Tpain says F*ck JayZ & F*ck Fabolous too over Twitter… Ok, now me & my twiggas/Street Twitter Ditta Dam must go in on him! After D.O.A., #tpainbetter not be mad, UPS is hiring!! #tpainbetter not meet me in
Well I’m not so sure about Fab but as far as Jay-Z is concerned; he’s probably more concerned with record sells right now and less about T-Pain’s useless rants and disses. Neither Jay nor Fab have yet commented to T-Pain’s explanation and most likely they won’t at all.

Trey Songz Still Trashing R-Kelly
Speaking of unnecessary taunts and disses; sultry R&B singer Trey Songz is still going at R-Kelly even after Kellz has refused to entertain Songz’s disrespectful comments against both Kellz and his lyrical ability. I’m guessing that Trey has gotten a little cocky ever since Drake and many others have crowned him the greatest R&B singer of this generation. Global Grind reports:
“It made me feel great, Drake’s my brother so he’s going to say that about me,” Songz explained in an interview. “I’ll do whatever it takes to make his words [true] and to bring his words to life. I feel like it takes a lot to be the number one R&B singer. I mean, I’m the number one R&B singer right now. I would say that as far as right now, current times hottest artist right now in the moment, but I think it takes a lot of consistency, it takes longevity and a lot more than what I’ve done in the past year…I’m not the greatest right now, I will say that, but I will be… At this point I feel like R. Kelly knows if he was to step in that arena with me as far as lyrically, wordplay or metaphorically in that arena after the way I came on ‘Death of Kells.’ Kellis is older, he’s an old man.”
While I agree that Trey Songz is one of the most talent R&B male singers of our generation, I do not agree with him trashing Kellz especially because if it were not for people like R-Kelly paving the way, there would be no Trey Songz. Not to mention that most likely Songz was conceived to one of R-Kelly’s joints, and if not, he probably lost his virginity to one. It kills me that instead of showing love and respect to those pioneers who paved the way, people want to knock other artists for what they do or have done in the past. Luckily Kellz is way too grown to even be giving Trey the time of day. He has previously responded simply by saying:
“When you’re a king…I don’t get into the challenges anymore,” Kells told a panel of journalists. “What is an elephant gonna do when an ant or a fly lands on them? Those guys got some growing up to do. That’s something I would have answered 20 years ago.”
I couldn’t have said it better myself. Although Songz may very well be better than Kellz, does that take away from all the beautiful music that Kellz has created? I think a proper battle would be in order. Or even better, one of the greatest collaborations ever created. Old Skool vs. New Skool? Make it happen. Trey I love you, but you ain’t Kellz. There is only one! You may need to get over yourself a little bit. Imagine how many little wannabe’s are going to be saying the exact same thing about you in a few years. I say, just continue to make that great music we love and leave Kellz alone!
