R&B crooner Tank, who was arrested and tasered this past weekend in
New Orleans during the All-Star festivities, has hired the Law Office of
Bernard L. Charbonnet, Jr. to seek legal and punitive action in his
case.

As reported before Tank was charged with disturbing the peace,
public drunkenness and resisting and obstructing an officer after
defending a female freind who was involved in a verbal altercation with
officers. During the arrest the cops tasered the singer at point blank
range.

It is not clear yet if Tank will be seeking any kind of
financial compensation for this act or if he’s just trying to make some
heads roll. Of the incident the singer says “The most frustrating part
of the entire incident is knowing that I did not do anything to pose a
threat but was treated like a criminal. With a clean-cut image and a
lady by my side, the law took matters into their own hands and chose to
endanger my safety and those accompanying me. It’s 2008 and New Orleans
is still very much in trouble beyond the aftermath of Hurricane
Katrina. I’m a living witness.”
