So I’m guessing that the next step after being in an R&B boy band is to lose your damn mind! No, not Bobby Brown! This time Blackstreet’s Teddy Riley has reportedly had a temporary restraining order taken out against him by his 18 year-old daughter Taja Riley, after he allegedly attacked her with a Rock Band video game guitar. Examiner reports:

“The order request, filed and granted in Los Angeles County Superior Court, accuses the singer of “stomping, punching and bashing” his daughters on December 23 and then lifting a Rock Band guitar  and threatening to kill them with it.”

This incident is said to have taken place at Riley’s Los Angeles home. Taja has made claims that she suffered several injuries from the incident including several bashes to the head, pain in her knee, and a contusion on her face. As a result Teddy has been ordered to stay at least 100 years away from his daughter. TMZ reports:

“Teddy’s 18 year-old daughter Taja Riley was granted a temporary restraining order against her dad — claiming 43-year-old Teddy abused her and her older sister by “stomping, punching and bashing them” in his L.A. home on December 23. Teddy has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from Taja. The next hearing is set for January.”

I mean damn Teddy, what did they do? A guitar? Who hits someone with a guitar? Not a good look! I hope he isn’t one of those aggressive players who got mad because he was losing?!?  These girls will never look at Xbox , Playstation or Wii the same again! All I can do is shake my head.

Teddy Riley himself spoke out about the incident just before he pulled a Chris Brown and deleted his account. According to SingersRoom Teddy does not regret his actions:

“Just prior to deleting his Twitter account, Riley reportedly said “I did it for a reason, and i would do it again for them to get it. don’t disrespect the hand that feeds you”.

Well, I guess you gotta point there, but again: a guitar though Teddy?!?!

The hearing has been set for sometime in January.  We will keep you posted on this incident.

Shyne Links With Scott Storch for New Project

Well Shyne is wasting no time getting back into the booth! According to several reports, former Bad Boy Shyne, has been linked to producer Scott Storch to assist him on his first album in over ten years. Storch too has been awol from the music game for a while. After dealing with several issues including going broke and his drug usage, he’s back at it!  In a recent interview, Storch had this to say:

“Yeah, Shyne’s  my man. I’ve been talking to him and I was talking to him all through his prison sentence. He’s always remained a loyal person to me,” Storch explained in an interview. “We became friends after he was already in [jail] and I found out he was a fan and he’s just a h*ll of a cool guy. I’m looking forward to doing, not just one record, but doing a chunk on his album… He’s in full effect. He’s got people sending him tracks. I have a feeling he’s going to make a really huge album… He’s got a lot to say.”

Damn two comebacks in one year?  I wonder how that’s going to workout?

Shyne is also set to be a featured artist on DJ Khaled’s upcoming album entitled “Victory”. “All My Life” will also features Akon and Mavado. Well Shyne, do your thing! We look forward to seeing what you got!
