FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

October 10, 2011 – (MIAMI, FLORIDA) – “All men are dogs and all women are gold diggers! Women are
emotionally weak and men have replaced their hearts with icebergs!” “Right? Wrong!” The Sexes Campaign
is ready to address the misconceptions, debates, and other dirty laundry associated with being a man or
woman. This is not a battle of the sexes, it’s a male and female empowerment campaign with the objective
to build stronger individuals and families. The campaign deals with who we are, what we believe, and how
it effects the way we relate to each other. Forget what you heard, put the rules of the game aside and let’s talk.

The campaign was founded by Miami’s own La Guardia and Carmen Skyy, who both know a thing or two
about male/female relational statistics. As Hip-Hop activists and radio personalities, they also have their hands on the pulse of pop culture.

“We must develop a culture of honor ..if we honor each other there would be no need for abuse” –
Chaplain Robert Allen, Rebuilding Families Foundation

The campaign will bring the sexes together through community fairs, nightlife venues, radio promotions,
fashion shows, and panel driven forums. With the fusion of pop culture and relevant conversation, the
discussions will be both interesting and reflective of the times.

In addition, the Sexes Campaign plans to connect its attendees and listeners to resources such as:
hotlines, organizations, clinics, professionals, and churches willing and able to address specific needs. As well as, provide youth with tips and tools to help them make wiser decisions, increase productivity, and
become role models for their generation and future generations.

Partners and affiliates of the campaign include: Music Against Bullying, Rebuilding Families Foundation,
Mo’ Faith Music, Get‘M Reddi Music Group, Alida’s Promo, Jora’s Divas, Versatile Media Group, 24HourHipHop.com, Berrie’s Street Hustle, and Live Nation.
