Artists: Jay-Z featuring Blackstreet
Track: The City is Mine
Album: In My Lifetime Vol. I
Year: 1997 – 1998

This is a Hova Classic! The track was produced by Teddy Riley and, at the time, an up and coming producer named Chad Hugo, who actually played the saxophone. The first verse was dedicated to the memory of The Notorious B.I.G. It was the third single off of his second studio album ‘In My Lifetime Vol. I’

The video references the cult classic film ‘The Usual Suspects’ whereby Jay-Z plays Kevin Spacey’s character. Michael Rapaport makes a cameo appearance as the detective.
