Atlanta’s Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash was a memorable this year, with T.I. being in most of the news. While he announced his newest signees to his Grand Hustle Label, 8Ball & MJG, he also kept the battle between him and Shawty Lo going.

Well actually Shawty Lo took the first shot as he began his set with a video showing him escaping from a bumbling FBI agent who looked just like T.I.  In the video the agent is belittled and slapped down for failing to catch Lo. After these first few shenanigans Lo recruited some allies in the form of fellow Bankhead rappers D.G. Yola, Dem Franchise Boyz, and his own group D4L to come out and perform their songs and proclaim Shawty as the true king of Bankhead. Yola in particular I’m sure will regret this move for many years to come. Then just when you think he’s had enough Lo ups the ante some more by displaying a banner proclaiming that a “New King Is Born”. LOL.

Well you know T.I. wasn’t gonna take this laying down. During his headlining set T.I. made numerous references to unnamed “haters” and even did a mock dance of Shawty Lo’s little silly dance that he does to the great amusement of the crowd. He topped it all off by proclaiming that he “Owns Atlanta”, and that ““This is my Birthday Bash! I own this shit!” Despite all the back and forth we are happy to say that there was no violence or showdowns or any of that nonsense. Just good ole fashioned shit talking, which is what hip hop is all about.

Neither T.I. or Shawty Lo have commented on the concert but expect some disses to be coming out on the net’ soon I’m sure. I wanna see that video Shawty Lo put on though, anybody got it for me?
