T.I. is being sued by an audio engineer who claims he was beaten and held hostage for 12 hours by one of the rapper’s employees, who was searching for a missing necklace.

Norris Gresham, who is employed at Echo Studios, claims he was attacked on September 8th by a variety of men associated with Grand Hustle, including Killer Mike aka Mike Bigga, rapper Spodee, Mac Boney and Cortez “C Rod” Thomas, who was with T.I. when he was arrested in Los Angeles a few weeks prior to this altercation.

Although T.I. was not in the recording studio when the assault took place, Gresham claims that the rapper was aware the assault was taking place because he was sent emails, text messages and videos of the incident as it unfolded.

Gresham says that Killer Mike lost a diamond encrusted necklace and pendant, resulting in the the 12-hour-ordeal.

When the necklace and medallion were found hidden in the ceiling, Spodee allegedly produced a gun and threatened to Kill Gresham.

Instead of shooting him, Gresham was pushed down stairs and beaten, resulting in two of his teeth being knocked out.

Video of the assault was allegedly sent to T.I., “who did nothing to stop the attack,” the complaint reads.

T.I. started an 11 month prison sentence in November, for violating the terms of his probation, after he was arrested with his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle and C-Rod in Los Angeles, in possession of ecstasy.
