The three-week long series of workshops, events, DJ sets and live performances will feature some of the brightest emergent talents from music, film, fashion and the visual arts. The events will also be used as a platform for aspiring talent to interact with established artists and entrepreneurs like Graffiti legends The Ink Heads and Vulcan, DJs from New York-based Scratch Academy and Dim Mak Records honcho Steve Aoki, among others.

"Customizing cars and sneakers, making and breaking beats, starting and running a record label and VJing, aren’t found in any course book," said Scion director of operations Tom Beddia via a statement. "The thrust behind each session is to bring these specialized arts to our events and show attendees how they can produce culture in a true DIY fashion.

"We’ve lined up the people who are rewriting the game right now, to lend their expertise so that everyone can walk away from these events and make something of their own that reflect who they are," he added.

After each workshop, there will be a live performance from DJs like DJ Irie, DJ Craze, DJ Low Budget of Hollertronix, DJ Swamp and DJ Language, among others.

"What Moves You Miami" will take place at a converted gallery space at 685 Washington Avenue in Miami Beach every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from May 18 to June 4.
Starting May 16th Scion will be hosting several parties througout the country with legendary DJ’s Evil Dee, Prince Paul, DJ Muggs, Biz Markie and Tony Touch. For a complete list and to rsvp to the events visit Scion’s website.
