West Columbia, SC – Former Blink 182 celebrity drummer Travis Barker and DJ AM were severely injured in a plane crash that killed four people earlier Saturday (Sept. 20). Sources say that they boarded a small plane after their performance in South Carolina for thousands of college students that Friday Night.

According to reports, the six passenger jet was departing sometime around midnight that Friday night, upon take off air traffic controllers reported sparks on the runway. The small plane then scattered across the field hitting fences and antennas. It later settled on the on a five lane highway engulfing in flames. The flight was scheduled to fly into Van Nuys, California.

At press time, both AM and Barker sustained injuries and severe burns. The other four passengers in plane who worked with the two musicians died at the scene. These were the other passengers Chris Baker, 29, of Studio City, California, Charles Still, 25, of Los Angeles, California died, the Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim Hills, California, and co-pilot James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad, California.
