I think the Notorious B.I.G. said it best when he said “More Money, More Problems” and right now Trey Songz definitely knows that better then anyone. Trey Songz and everyone involved with Trey Songz Hit record “Bottoms Up” is being sued by a production company named Doc Mob Records who has teamed up with IHip Hop Music and Derrick Price for a $18 million lawsuit filed against Atlantic Records, Kodak, Trey Songz, and producer Kane Beatz as well as manager Gee Robertson. The lawsuit was rumored to be filed in NYC on Feb. 2. Doc Mob claims he hired Milton James aka Tony Scales, to produce the track under their imprint. James, who produced the track in Price’s studio, who later teamed up with Kane Beatz for additional production for the record even though Price’s name was failed to be mentioned from the liner notes on Trey’s last album. Doc Mob Records also claim that they attempted to resolve things with Atlantic Records, by sending them several cease and desist letters that were consistently ignored by the label. Kodak is only listed as a defendant on the case, because of their usage of the track in their recent SoKodak campaign with Trey Songz.
