Miami, FL. – With all the back and forth speculations revolving around Rick Ross as of late and the allegations that involve Trick Daddy as well, it is quite obvious something this minuscule cannot cause turmoil amongst the two lead pioneers of the Miami movement. It has become clear that both Ross and T Double D are not bumping heads about this whole ridiculous incident, as a matter of fact that same video that was leaked to the net involving Ross using harsh words about Trick was subsequently taped over 2 years ago. The two have since united and make a majority of the movement. Even with legal documents surfacing on smokinggun.com and photos posted to mediatakeout.com, it is certain none of these have bothered Ross in the slightest bit, he is still focused on his main passion, music, and is continuing to record tracks for his third LP, ‘Deeper than Rap.’ However, it is still apparent someone is trying to wreak havoc amongst the unity by causing a war between brethrens and is single-handedly responsible for all this minor disruption, that someone has yet to be named, but we have an idea of who the culprit might be.

The Mayor of Miami recently spoke to MTV News regarding this whole matter and cleared up some issues between The Boss and himself. This was the phone conversation between Trick and MTV:

“Me and Ross had a clear understanding ’bout the whole station. The [leaked] video comes from an attempt to start a beef like two or three years ago. Some people around you don’t mean you good. After figuring that out, those people are no longer in the situation. When this whole thing came out, it had nothing to do with me. Then all of sudden this video popped up on [the Net]. I’m a man. I don’t do shit like that.”

Even though the video was recorded sometime in the past, MTV still insisted on inquiring how Trick felt about Ross’ choice of words.

“The only thing I can say to that is, I’m a grown man. I’m definitely not gonna [let] nobody make me say something negative. I’m a Rick Ross fan. A lot of years ago, a lot of people wanted me and Rick Ross to have this problem with one another, and they almost succeeded from what you can see in the video. The video is very old. It’s two or three years old. As far as that situation, he was given some bad advice. He’s a very talented person. It seems like me and Ross was going through some type of problems. I don’t have problems with nobody, period. I don’t care what the video says. Me and Ross never had problems. That was somebody lying.”

Trick continued to clear up the rumors about him being behind all the photos that were falsely credited to him by gossip blog, mediatakeout.com.

“You know how the media go, I’m just surprised it comes from so many so-called professional people that they would even involve my name in that. I had nothing to do with that from day one. They don’t need to make up lies like I leaked pictures or I’m beefing with Plies and Rick Ross. Definitely not Rick Ross, that’s my homeboy.”

The ongoing public controversy between both Trick and Plies have been going on for quite some time now and we are aware of Trick views Plies in a nutshell. MTV also inquired about that whole other situation.

“I got pissed off and said what I said. But as far as me and Plies having a major problem, that ain’t what this is. I don’t have no problems with him.”

Trick omitted his reasons for disparaging Plies over the course of the past months and clarified his point stating that there’s a deeper motive to how he views the whole situation.

“I been in this game a long time, it’s a certain respect or understanding you should have about me if you grew up in my area. If you from Florida, Georgia, them places, and you in between the ages of 15 and 35, I practically raised you on the music tip. There’s a certain level of respect you should give me. You don’t owe me, but at the same time, it’s certain things that were said and done that I felt was disrespectful. But me and him got a clear understanding, I’m sure we do. [Plies not showing up to Khaled’s video shoot], that’s what made me pop off at the time. But it started before that.”

At press time, Trick is still recording his eighth studio LP entitled ‘Finally Famous: Born a Thug, Die a Thug.’ This will be his first album under the Def Jam imprint speculated to be due out sometime in the first quarter of 2009. Ross is also working on his third studio LP entitled ‘Deeper than Rap,’ due out sometime at the end of 2008. Miami is still on top of their game, 305 stand up!
