The M.I.A.’s baddest bitch Trina got into a car accident this weekend in the country of Belize. Trina was in the country to appear for a celebrity basketball game with fellow celebrity basketball player Kenyon Martin. The point of the rally and game were to promote peace and non violence in the murder ridden country. While Trina and Martin were being driven away from the airport on the way to the venue a minivan hit the side of their chauffeured Ford Excursion. According to witnesses it was not a big accident but more of a fender bender. “Trina was in a small wreck in Belize, yesterday on her way from the airport to a charity basketball event this weekend,” Trina’s publicist Krystle Coleman said in an exclusive statement. “She is currently fine, and ‘extremely thankful’ that no one was hurt in the small car accident. She is looking forward to the rest of her weekend on vacation and thankful for everyone’s safety.”

Although Trina might be happy about the whole situation there are several people grumbling about what happened, including the driver of the minivan that struck Trina’s SUV. Although neither Trina nor Martin were injured, the 12 year old  son of the minivan’s driver did suffer unspecified “serious” injuries. The driver, George Abraham, accused Trina and Martin’s driver of being in the wrong. In an interview with Belize’s Local 7 News he expressed his suspicions and thoughts. “I was on my right hand side and this vehicle overtake on this side,” Abraham said. “That guy was in the wrong in that vehicle. I was on my correct shoulder.” Witnesses to the incident backed up Abraham’s story by saying the motorcade was far too large for Belize’s small dirt roads and was forcing all the other traffic onto the side of the road. Belize authorities are looking into what happened and also to see if this motorcade was even officially sanctioned in the first place.
