Miami, FL – The Diamond Princess has been one of the most predominate female rappers since the early 90’s and even now. Trina is literally almost covered a whole decade with her music and with 5 studio albums under her belt, she still continues to push forward, as a matter of fact harder this time.

Even with the list that of femcees that is front of them, XXL has respectively chosen Trina as the ‘most consistent female emcee.’ Agreeing with their assessment of her career, she recently addressed the title when interviewed by VladTV.

These were her comments:

“Absolutely, I think definitely I hold that title, I think I’ve been the most consistent female of all time. We have a lot of recurring females as well as a lot of new females, but as far as consistent, I definitely think I hold that title.”

No matter the year, Trina as an artist has always been able to stay relevant especially in male dominated industry:

“It is what it is. I think as a female, I think you have to work extremely hard, you gotta do whatever it is that you do, you gotta stayed focused and you gotta know what it is you want to do and strive for the best. It’s so many guys, there’s such a little bit of females. And I think that when you get that small little crack, you gotta mash on the brakes and just gotta take off.”
