The victims in the early Sunday shooting were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, WCCO-TV, Minneapolis reported.

There were officers near the Quest nightclub when the shootings happened around 2:30 a.m., a spokesman said.

“A couple of officers actually saw the muzzle blast from the gun so they were very, very close,” police spokesman Ron Reier said.

Police cleared the club and searched all the patrons for weapons but there were no immediate arrests.

At least one patron told WCCO-TV there may have been shots fired inside the club as well.

“Some dude got shot up in there, because they were acting crazy,” he said. “I don’t even understand what the whole thing was about. They were shooting on the floor.”
