Alfamega States that T.I. Knew About His Criminal Past
Just when we thought he was done, Alfamega has again proven that he refuses to just stay out of the spotlight. This former Grand Hustle Associate has recently responded to T.I.’s past statements about Alfa’s criminal past and denying that he ever worked for the Drug Enforcement Agency.
In a recent interview, According to Gyant Unplugged, Alfa revealed his feelings about being labeled a “snitch” even saying that T.I. knew what he had been arrested for.
“Am I snitching in the hood,” he asked laughing. “It’s like people say I can’t go back in the hood, when I heard that I was in the hood. They still say I can’t go back to the hood but I was in the hood when I heard I couldn’t go back…Me and the dude [they say I snitched on] Ali, didn’t have any business together, ever. Me and Ali never been in the streets together, hustling, things like that. I apologized to dude because his name got caught up in a whole lot of things…How do you intentionally conceal your criminal past? Intentionally? Everybody in the streets knows me. Tip knew what I had been locked up for, I had been locked up for a gun. I went to jail for a gun. He talked to dudes who did time with me. His uncle and everybody did time with me. He was in prison with me…I don’t work for no motherfucking DEA. I have never worked for the DEA. I had gun charges.”
Obviously T.I. didn’t receive the memo. In his announcement last May, he released Alfa from Grand Hustle saying:
“Even though all of our artists and employees are asked by us to be honest and open about their past history at no time did Alfa disclose to me or Grand Hustle what has now appeared in the media. He essentially deceived us by failing to fully disclose the truth about his past and there is no place in our organization for dishonest and misleading behavior. As I’ve always said, you must take responsibility for your own actions, we at Grand Hustle do not support or condone blaming others for our own mistakes. I hope and pray to god bless his financial plans but I do not foresee me or my company playing the role of his personal or professional business.”
Well who’s telling the truth here? Even if Alfa is being honest, it’s kind of hard to dispute official documents and it’s even harder to rid the Snitch plague.
Joe Budden Calls Truce with Method Man
Apparently Joe Budden has decided to call a truce with Method Man. But we all know Budden is not the traditional type of guy so we all knew this truce would come with certain stipulations. While he has decided to end all of the drama, he warns all other parties involved to put this beef to rest.
According to On Smash, Budden claims to be focused on his Rock The Bells tour but says he will still be prepared for anyway who wants to create problems:
“I really am sorry for the Method Man initial move,” Joey said in a video. “When I say I’m apologizing, it’s because Joe Budden is truly sorry for something Joe Budden did and it was in bad taste. Now, because there’s been a lot of other parties being involved, a lot of parties that don’t really have anything to do with it, like they’re just in it because of association…From this point forward, if any one of them niggas say something to me, that I do not like, or any one of them niggas say my name in a negative light, the peace treaty is fucking over and the ‘No Comment’ movement is over…Anybody else, associated with that nigga, affiliated or feel my name should roll outta their fucking mouth…do it from this point on, and there won’t be nothing Royce [Da 5’9], Crooked [I] can do to stop what I’m doing…Everybody loves Wu-Tang, but the same way the young niggas respect the older niggas, the older niggas are gonna have to start respecting the younger n*ggas. That’s what’s gonna have to start happening.”
So why the sudden change of heart? Was Inspectah Deck’s diss too much for Budden? Who knows, but apparently everything is all good now. Well at least for the moment. There’s always a twist when it comes to rap beef.
