Despite being seven hours late, Yung Joc eventually appeared in a Cleveland courthouse yesterday afternoon (Dec. 26) for his arraignment on gun charges.

As previously reported, Municipal Judge Michael John Ryanissued an arrest warrant when Joc, whose real name is Jasiel Robinson, failed to appear before him yesterday morning as scheduled.

The warrant was revoked once Joc appeared, though seven hours late. His attorney Stanley Jackson, Jr., told the courtroom Joc had personal financial and family obligations which kept him from being in court on time.

Joc did not enter a plea at his arraignment and left the courthouse
without comment, however Jackson said his client maintains his
innocence. The Atlanta rapper previously told police he was unaware the
gun was in his bag.

Joc is scheduled to return to court January 25, 2008.
