Cleveland, OH – After news hit the media that Krayzie Bone was officially leaving the veteran Hip-Hop group that he started with, Bone Thugs N Harmony, news started swirling in different directions with the group’s future. Krayzie Bone released a video last week that he has officially left the group to pursue other endeavors, including the continued push of his label The Life Entertainment alongside fellow group member Wish Bone. The rest of the members of the group, however slightly sour of his departure, issued a statement over the weekend stating their continuation.
So it seems as though Bone Thugs N Harmony aren’t going anywhere, anytime soon. Here is the statement as told by a BTNH spokesperson to AllHipHop.com:
“Let’s be clear, Bone Thugs n Harmony the band/brand did not and does not break up. A single member has parted ways on another mission in life and we wish him love and success. BTNH World Wide the brand continues to function 307 days a year globally, and will continue to do so with respect to its business partners and the great Fan Family.”
The statement even concludes with the group continuing to do live performances with a tour scheduled to commence in May:
“Come see one of our dynamic live band concerts in a city or country near you this coming May through September 2011.”
At press time, those tour dates have yet to be released to the media.
