Rapper 50 Cent and singer Chaka Khan caused quite the commotion when they appeared on the VH1 Divas red carpet together this week and made even more news when they announced that they’re currently working together on an undisclosed project.

The duo didn’t reveal much about their collaboration but did mention that we can expect “hit music” and “big things” from their project together.

While Chaka Khan working with 50 Cent may come as a bit of a shock to some, the singer has actually worked with quite a few Hip Hop artists in the past. She collaborated with both Guru (“Watch What You Say”) and De La Soul (“All Good”) and her music has even been sampled by the likes of Kanye West.
