During their interview and performance for V103’s Conversation/Soul Session, Brandy and Monica paid tribute to Whitney Houston.

The dynamic duo got emotional during their two-hour performance while they covered their late idol’s songs including “You Give Good Love” and “I Will Always Love You.”

Though Monica got the crowd going with her performance of “You Give Good Love,” Brandy lingered in the background seemingly suppressing tears.

It was evident that the 33-year-old was trying to hold it together during her personal interview, although she could barely make it through singing a line of “I Will Always Love You,” before getting choked up.

The R&B songstresses also hit the stage to perform their classic hit “The Boy Is Mine” along with their current single “It All Belongs To Me.”
