The New York Daily News reports that rapper Bigga Threat, who has recorded with artists like Max B., French Montana, Dame Grease, and others, was one of two men shot by a gunman who pedaled up on a bicycle on E. 128th St. and opened fire.
Another man named Laquan Parks was shot in the head and killed instantly during the ambush, which took place a little after noon.
Bigga Threat was shot in the right thigh and taken to Harlem Hospital Center, where he is being treated for his wounds.
According to the New York Daily News, Parks’ body was left outside for hours, as police chased the scene and searched for suspects in the deadly shooting.
“I know he’ll be okay, but I don’t know if he’ll be okay mentally after this,” the rapper’s brother, Mike Edwards, told the Daily News.
Last year, Bigga Threat released several diss records aimed at Dipset affiliated rappers Jim Jones and Hell Rell.
