Meek Mill apologized to anyone who took offense with his “Amen” single, including the North Philly pastor who blasted the rapper’s music.

The 25-year-old hit up BET’s 106 & Park July 16 and offered an apology alongside and explanation as to why he’s causing so much controversy. “People find all types of stuff offensive,” he said.  “I don’t think no preacher or no church approves of any type of rap music — because rap music, period, is a lot of bad stuff said. But at the end of the day, it’s real life.”

Meek was inspired to make the track, found on his Dreamchasers 2 mixtape, because it gave him a “good feeling,” and not to be rebellious.  “I didn’t do it with bad intentions at the end of the day.”
