No matter where your life takes you, it is always important to give back. This past Wednesday in North Miami, Florida, Rick Ross held his annual charity event. “Be Out Day” was a free event that encouraged members of the community to come out with their family and enjoy themselves. I commend Ross on still keeping up with this annual event. The event was hosted by Felicia Monet of WEDR 99 Jamz, LIVE music from Jamsquad Dj’s, and LIVE performances from the Teflon Don himself, Trina, Waka Flocka, Magazeen, & Triple C’s.
This day was mostly about the children, and they had a blast. They received brand new book bags for school, meet and greet with all the celebrities, and many of them even got on stage while the artist performed. It was good to see all the families that came out to enjoy that day festivities, the mayor of North Miami was also in attendence. At the end of the day Rick Ross was presented with an award from the city of North Miami.
It hasnt been a week since the event and I am already excited for this event next year. Remember it is important to give back to your community, and you don’t have to have lots of money to do so. Spending time in your community can help as well.
Check out the footage from the event.
