New York, NY – It appears as though Snoop Lion is changing his perception of music when it comes to rapping about violence and murder. The Snoop Dogg we knew 20 years ago with tracks like ‘Murder was the Case’ has decided to change his tone of material for the better. Inspired by the recent events that have plagued our nation, from the Aurora, Colorado theater shootings to the Sandy Hook Elementary shootings and the recent Boston Marathon bombings, Snoop has decided to use his powerful for a better cause.

On a recent interview on MTV’s RapFix Live this past Wednesday (April 24), Sway asked Snoop how he could go from one way of thinking when it comes to guns and violence to switching the script completely. Snoop states that the recent events that have occurred in America has inspired him to stop all the gun violence and that he’s had a ‘change of heart.’
