Violence Erupts at E-40 Show in Denver
Denver, CO – Reports have been coming in from over the weekend of a club shooting in the Midwest. Apparently, Bay Area rapper, E-40, was performing at a club venue in Denver, Colorado whereby a shootout ensued. The rapper was not harmed, however, reports are surfacing that several people were seen running from the club.
According to media outlets across Denver, the shootings occurred outside Club Vinyl around 2am just as the club was closing. As people were vacating the premises witnesses report that several shots rang out as gunmen ran out of a crowd of 100 people fleeing for their lives. Denver authorities have yet to release the motive behind the shootings, except the fact that three men were seen running after three other men with pistols and knives. Five people were wounded during the shootings, while one is in critical condition.
At press time, police are still searching for suspects involved in the incident. As of Sunday no arrests have been made. Witnesses told Rocky Mountain News that fights occur that the club on a regular basis whereby police have been seen at the venue several times throughout the week.
ATL Artists Perform in NYC
Uniondale, NY – This past Saturday Night (December 27), Atlanta artists lit up the stage at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York. NYC radio station Hot 97 put together their annual Holiday Bash for 2008 and invited a plethora of heavyweight artists from the ATL and New York. Between artists like Young Jeezy, Ludacris, T.I., and New York’s own Busta Rhymes, Jim Jones, and Juelz Santana graced the stage to provide the fans with an exceptional holiday show.
New York radio personalities Angie Martinez and DJ Enuff hosted the event starting off with the Ballin’ originator Jim Jones with Santana alongside him. As Luda hit the stage earlier than expected, he provided the NY fans with a 40 minute set of his hits through all his albums including tracks from his recent LP. Before Luda concluded his set, Busta surprised the fans by appearing on set to perform his ‘Arab Money’ alongside the College Park native.
After Luda completed his set, another A-Town native came right after. Young Jeezy and his CTE camp hit stage and flared a complete set of his hit tracks for the fans to provide a huge applause. The main headliner of the show, TIP graced the stage and the crowd went wild. While on stage, he performed a plethora of his hits from previous albums, at the same time he also made subliminal disses towards what we all knew to be Shawty Lo.
Mariah Carey Pregnant
Word is spreading like wildfire across media outlets that Nick Cannon’s wife, MC, is carrying his child. There was speculation at first on whether or not Mariah Carey was pregnant, now sources close to her are confirming that the Grammy award-winner is with child. It was reported that she was seen leaving a well-known Gynecologist’s office in Los Angeles sometime earlier this month with a sonogram in hand.
At press time, both Cannon and Carey are having a great vacation in Aspen, Colorado. Mariah has also calmed her strenuous fitness regimen. We might be seeing a Cannon-Carey in the next nine months.
