East Rutherford, NJ – Ever since the release of his debut ‘Rolling Papers,’ Wiz Khalifa has literally been all over the place. From where he once was to where he is now, his fans have even grown immensely. Actually, if you think about it, his music is also grown; you can sense the transition from his mixtapes to his album. The concept in his music has definitely evolved from before.

MTV News recently caught up with the Pittsburgh emcee while on his tour bus at the Bamboozle festival. Khalifa went into how his fans went from ‘The cool kids’ to everyone else.

These were his comments:

“Before, it was all of the cool crowd or just the kids that were up on what was new. We kind of all dressed the same and looked the same and were into the same thing. It kind of spread: a lot more females, a lot of different ages of people. There was a kid that I’m sure was 12 years old, singing every word pointing at me, so that in itself is really powerful.”

Wiz Khalifa is about to embark on his ‘The Rolling Papers Tour’ as it kicks off on June 12 in Missouri and lasts into early August. Even though Khalifa is pushing and living off the success of ‘Roll Up,’ he is already confident about the release of next single off his album:

“The third single on there is going to be ‘No Sleep.’ That’s why we put it out on iTunes earlier, just to go ahead, to get people ready for it,” Wiz said. “It goes crazy when we perform it, right now, we’re just continuing with ‘Roll Up.’ It’s still doing what it’s doing at radio. It’s building and it’s selling so many more copies. We’re going to wait a little bit and then probably do a video for ‘No Sleep.’”
