While Wiz Khalifa is gearing up to head to Las Vegas for MTV’s Spring Break 2011 (March 5th-9th), he also has an album dropping at the end of the month. His major label debut, Rolling Papers, is due in stores March 29th, and at approximately 1:15 EST today (February 26th), he released the official cover of the project via his twitter account.

In keeping with the marijuana-infused theme of the project— note the clever play on the title itself— the cover art finds Wiz’s face buried behind a hazy cloud of smoke. It’s accented by a green hue, which one might rightfully associate— considering some of the artist at hand’s subject matter— with the green plant. The title of the project and Wiz’s name are off to the lower left.

Following the album’s release at the end of March, Wiz will head out on a 14 date “Green Carpet Tour” at the beginning of April. The tour kicks off in Raleigh, North Carolina on April 1st and ends on the 26th, at State College, Pennsylvania. Wiz’s hit single, “Black and Yellow,” topped the Billboard Hot 100 in the 2nd week of February, and he recently filmed the video for the second single from the LP, “Roll Up.” Last week, in an effort to quell demand for his LP, he released a new mixtape, Cabin Fever.
