Young Buck got a surprise visit from shotgun wielding federal agents yesterday when they raided his Tennessee home over an unpaid 300k tax debt. The raid took place early morning and according to Buck they took EVERYTHING.
“They took my kids’ Playstation, my assistants’ computers, and baby’s mothers’ jewelry. They took my home studio so I can’t even record,” he said.
Other items reportedly taken were platinum wall plaques as well as several thousand dollars worth of Bucks’s own jewelry. Buck has been dealing with tax problems ever since he left G-Unit last year. Despite this setback Buck says he is holding his head up and is only learning from this situation to make him a smarter businessman.
“I have a new team in place, but I am also paying full attention now. Nothing like this will ever happen again. This is a huge wake up call for all entertainers to stay on top of your own trusted employees and team members, and replace anyone that was put in place by your record label if the situation you have goes sour,” he explained. This IRS situation came about because I trusted accountants, lawyers, and managers to handle my business for me while I focused on making music. From now on, I am going to stay on top of my own business.”
