I guess Kanye has all the answers, because he said he is a Fashion genius and I couldn't believe these Nike shoe sales. So yesterday Nike surprised everyone by putting Kanye West's red Air Yeezy 2 sneakers (Red Octobers) on nikestore.com and the sales went crazy . So even though no one knew of the release the sneakers still sold out in minutes. Not only that, ebay is going crazy on the prices and bids on the Red Octobers. In one Ebay auction the bid actually went up to $16.4 million, believe it or not. You can a few on Ebay a bit cheaper, (if you can it cheap) at the "Buy It Now" price of $10,000.
I wonder how Kanye feels about these prices and the fact it sold out in minutes, because its something to be very proud of. If you haven't forgotten Kanye stopped working with Nike last year and now works with Adidas. Kanye must be one of the most misunderstood man in HipHop and now he will be in the fashion industry. Kanye is right though , he just might be a genius.
